Rescue workers rescued 41 people from the gondolas of the Rüdesheim cable car in Hesse on Friday evening. The nearly 1.4-kilometer track had previously been halted due to a technical failure in the hydraulics, a police spokesman said.

Passengers were trapped for nearly three hours in the gondolas suspended up to 14 meters above the ground. In total, 41 passengers were rescued from 20 gondolas. No one was injured in the incident. The “Hessenschau” had previously reported about the incident.
