Apple has expanded its existing service program for the iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro. The program is valid for affected iPhone 12 or iPhone 12 Pro devices for three years after the device is first sold in the store, starting from two years. Apple started the service program for the iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro in August 2021.

They say they want to handle a small percentage of the devices that are plagued by no sound problems. It has been determined that a very small percentage of iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro devices may experience audio issues in some cases due to a possibly defective part of the earphone module. The affected devices were manufactured between October 2020 and April 2021, Apple said. If an iPhone 12 or iPhone 12 Pro doesn’t make any sound from the earphones when making or receiving calls, it could be qualified for the service.
