Pluto TV, ViacomCBS’s ad-supported streaming service, has announced what content you can watch there in October 2022. As was hardly to be expected, Pluto TV also focuses on horror – suitable for Halloween. Disney already showed this in its October content announcement for Disney+.

Pluto TV will launch two new pop-up channels for you in October 2022. On the one hand, that would be the channel “Pluto TV Horror”, where films such as “Rosemary’s Baby” and the long-controversial series “Friday the 13th”, especially in Germany, are shown from 10 p.m. There are also science fiction horror movies such as “Area 51” or the horror comedy “Vampires in Brooklyn” by director Wes Craven and starring Eddie Murphy.

On the other hand, the “Nick Spuktober” pop-up channel is in stock for younger viewers. The pop-up station shows 24 hour Halloween specials from popular Nick series such as “SpongeBob Squarepants”, “Henry Danger” or “Barbapapa”. This channel is enabled around the clock because you don’t have to worry about the age ratings of the content.

“Unsolved Mysteries” has had over 500 episodes since 1987. The American series is a classic in the genre of true crime TV. During prime time, Pluto TV Mystery shows three episodes of the first season every Monday at 8:15 PM to get you in the mood for Halloween.

If that’s not enough to scare you, with its M?stery, True Crime, Crime and Paranormal channels, the free streaming service offers you other suitable content for Halloween and beyond. There’s also “X-Factor”, which I know well from my childhood – but it’s also currently via Amazon Prime video available – with Jonathan Frakes aka William T. Riker of “Star Trek: The Next Generation” as host.
