Recipe for plum pie with crumbs
Ingredients:
550 g plums (fresh, pitted, halved lengthwise), 150 g butter (melted), 150 g sugar, 3 egg yolks, 1 vanilla sugar or a little vanilla flavour, 300 g flour
Preparation:
Heat the butter together with the sugar in a saucepan (until the butter has melted), stir a few times and let it cool slightly. Place the egg yolks and flour in a mixing bowl; Mix briefly with the blender. Add the butter-sugar mixture (and optional vanilla flavouring) and mix with the mixer until a crumbly dough forms. Place 3/4 of the crumbs in a greased springform pan and press with a spoon to form a dough base. Spread the halved plums close together (do not overlap) on the dough base and cover with the remaining crumbs. possibly Sprinkle some sugar over the plums before they crumble if they are a little sour. Bake at 180 degrees for 45-50 minutes. If necessary, cover the cake (in good time) with aluminum foil if the crumbs become too brown.
