No Widgets found in the Sidebar

One of the most notable changes made to your iPhone with iOS 16 is the ability of widgets on the lock screen. No wonder a few resourceful app developers here didn’t wait long to release apps that also let you create custom widgets. One of these solutions is the free app “Lock Screen Shortcuts – LockFlow”. The app takes you by the hand on initial setup when it comes to importing your existing shortcuts from the Apple app of the same name to place them on the home screen as a widget. You can then choose the appropriate symbol from an extensive library.

You will then get the single widget or the widget that is twice as wide as the widget options – depending on how you want it to look on the lock screen. Anyway, only the underlying symbol/icon is shown, which allows you to run the respective shortcut directly when you tap it.
