Borussia Monchengladbach vice-chairman Rainer Bonhof believes fears that Bayern Munich will once again dominate the Bundesliga are premature. “No, I’m really not worried,” the 1974 world champion said in an interview with the news portal “t-online” (Friday). “I don’t need it yet, now I don’t know what to think of.”

Alleged Bayern rivals Borussia Dortmund are said to still be making “corrections” after their false start after the recent setback against newly promoted Werder Bremen, as are RB Leipzig and Bayer Leverkusen. Bonhofs Borussia will battle on Saturday (6:30 p.m. / Sky) as second in the table for the traditional duel with the formerly sovereign leader from Munich. “We look at ourselves, we now have seven points. That’s great, but nothing more. We still have 31 match days ahead of us and therefore all have to leave the church in the village,” said Bonhof.
